SWAP USA package includes:
Four-month J-1 American work permit (you choose the date your visa starts. You can begin working as early as May 1, 2010, no work permitted after Oct. 1, 2010)

Once you understand and accept the Terms and Conditions, complete the SWAP USA Registration Pack. Don’t forget to sign and date the Terms and Conditions form! |

Take your Registration form and the documents outlined below to your nearest Travel CUTS/Voyages Campus, Adventure Travel Company or Odyssey Travel office. Our travel counsellors are there to assist you. |
Swap Application Checklist
Include the following documents as part of your application.
- Completed SWAP Registration Form, signed and dated. Copy of typed resume in English.
- Typed Reference letter. You may choose to use the standard SWAP Reference Form available SWAP REFERENCE FORM available Here
- The original copy of ‘Proof of Student Status’ letter for the present semester; signed and dated and stamped by either your professor or registrars office.
- Signed and dated 2010 SWAP USA SWAP & BUNAC Participant Agreement. Ensure to read this entire document to fully understand your responsibilities on this program.
- USA Visa Application Requirements.
- Proof of Support Funds (Bank Letter).
- If you’ve already organized employment, a copy of the Employer Job Offer Agreement Form (found on our website), signed by both you and your employer.
- A readable photocopy of your valid Canadian passport picture page. If you do not have a current passport, you must apply for one as soon as possible.
